N.C. Partnership for Children - Smart Start is North Carolina's nationally recognized and award-winning early childhood initiative designed to ensure that young children enter school healthy and ready to succeed. Smart Start is a public-private initiative that provides early education funding to all of the state's 100 counties. Smart Start funds are administered at the local level through local nonprofit organizations called Local Partnerships. Your local Smart Start Agency is Stokes Partnership for Children.

 

North Carolina Division of Child Development and Early Education - The Division is the result of a longstanding commitment by the state of North Carolina to protect and serve its young children. The mission of the Division is performed by various organizational units that work together, each sharing in the overall responsibility of the agency.

Grow a Child - The Grow a Child web site is a collaborative effort between a number of North Carolina community agencies, including Stokes Partnership for Children, created to help families find local community resources and other simple ideas to turn good parents into extraordinary parents.
