Information for Families

Resource Library
The Resource Library is located within Stokes Partnership for Children. It is loaded with lots of great free resources for teachers, parents, grandparents, children and students such as children’s books, activity boxes, puzzles, school readiness books, die cuts, large and small laminators, parent help books, early childhood magazines, etc. Items can be checked out for two weeks free of charge. Technical Assistance
Technical Assistance is available through CCR&R staff to support the individual needs of parents and their families. Guidance provided by phone, email, or in person. Services include but are not limited to Resource Lending Library, home child care start up information, laminating material, referrals to community services and training classes.

Training Workshops
Workshops are available related to parenting and child care issues including child development, behavior modifications, and understanding quality care. Click here for the calendar. 


Programs provided by other agencies you may be interested in:

Child Care Subsidy
Provides financial support for eligible families through vouchers obtained through the Department of Social Services for licensed child care.

Assistance Finding Child Care

We assist parents with information regarding child care options and identifying quality child care settings. We provide information on state licensing requirements. Assistance provided by phone, email, or in person.  Child care referrals may be accessed through Work Family Resource Center.
